The PUEAC Recording Studio is a modern, professional sound studio that consistently supports the Academy’s educational, artistic and research activities. It features acoustically controlled spaces and high-quality recording, editing and mixing equipment, offering students hands-on learning in real production conditions. The studio is integrated into the teaching of courses related to sound, music production, acoustics and audiovisual media, supporting individual and group projects, artistic productions and research. It is also used for recordings and educational activities related to ecclesiastical music, traditional and secular art music, and European music, covering ecclesiastical, classical, traditional and contemporary repertoires.

 

The Recording Studio contributes significantly to the educational work of the Hieratical Studies Program, supporting students’ education and professional training. It is used for recording, analyzing and documenting ecclesiastical music, Byzantine chant, liturgical readings and sacred texts, aiding the development of vocal technique, interpretive ability and understanding of the acoustics of liturgical spaces

 

As part of the institution’s international collaborations, the Studio provides an organized and supportive learning environment, fostering international academic cooperation and the exchange of knowledge and best practices in audio production, traditional and contemporary music and the ecclesiastical musical tradition.
